In areas of Madagascar, clean drinking water is almost impossible to find without drilling deep. Life Outreach has been expanding it’s program to drill new wells there, so we traveled with them to document stories of how the current conditions have impacted the people. Voola’s story broke our heart, so we had to bring it home.

This story ran in the context of Life Outreach’s TV show, Life Today, and was followed by an opportunity to respond and help those in need.

Contemporary Christian Artist Aaron Shust and The Seed Company partnered together for the OneVerse campaign to further Bible translation work for remote areas of Tanzania. Jyra Films then traveled in early 2011 to Tanzania with them to document the delivery of the Gospel of John to the Ndamba people. This resulting video was created to present these ministry efforts and partnership opportunity at the 2011 Dove Awards Artists Banquet.

We were asked to produce a :60 spot promoting the need for Bible translation that could run during the Winter Jam 2011 Concert Tour. This was the result.

We had the pleasure of shooting this acoustic version recording of Kari Jobe’s single, “We Are”. The first of many great cuts on her new album releasing in January 2012.

Jyra Films was recently asked by Life Outreach International to journey to Mozambique, Africa with contemporary Christian artist Tammy Trent to investigate the need there for Life Today’s Mission Feeding program. This was one of the videos we produced. It was conceptualized, shot and written there in the field and then post-production was done back at our facility in Hurst, Texas. It began airing on Life Today May 2nd, 2011.

We had the privilege of shooting the material for this short film that Choice Fruit Media wrote, produced and edited for the Catholic Pro-Life Committee of Dallas. It discards the political rhetoric and captures the heart of those sidewalk counselors who lay it all down each day to rescue women and their children from the tragedy of abortion. Nice job Choice Fruit Media. And thank you CPLC for all you do.

This is a video we produced for the One Heart Project. Each year, more than 2 million juveniles in America are arrested and 100,000 are sent to prison. The One Heart Project is a non-profit organization founded to reach this forgotten population and offer them a true second chance.

The video ran at their fund raising event at Cowboys Stadium.

This is a United Nations music video we had the privilege of helping with called “8 Goals for Africa.”  We met up with Grammy Award winning artist Angelique Kidjo in New York to shoot her portion of this song in a small basement room in her apartment.  It was then mixed together with footage of other artists and children shot elsewhere around the world by TOM Pictures and edited by Kraft Post Production in the U.K.  Angelique is the first female soloist who appears in the video.

We recently helped create the videos for An Evening of Hope, an event held to raise awareness and funds to stop human trafficking in India.  Anita was flown here from India for the event a few days beforehand.  Since our preference would have been to shoot her interview in her setting in India, we did our best to create a set here in the good ole Fort Worth area that would look like she hadn’t left home.  Thanks to Brad Jensen of bradjensenart.com and Resonate Artistic Studios for helping create the look we wanted.  Thanks to Season Caldwell, Jeanne Rogers and Tammy Brooks for helping us with the production.  Thanks to everyone at sowerofseeds.org for letting us be a part of this project…your work to stop human trafficking is awesome.

The interview was to profile her for her alma mater, James Madison University, and highlight her role model work for the Coke sponsored Dallas Elevators youth program. This is just an excerpt.
